They get their guys back in and if we play like we have they'll win this game by 25.

Can anyone explain HOW we get out rebounded by 18 at half. Watched U.K. Basketball since 1965 not sure I've ever seen us get outrebounded this badly.

As much as he irritates me in other ways, this is true.

Trying to pinpoint what's wrong with this team IMO has to start with the fact that teams figured out our transition game.

They're doing everything they can to get back on us, and that changes everything. Those quick twos we were getting in droves earlier have gone away.

So now we have to be a halfcourt offensive team, which is hard for a team that wants to play fast. And our defense, which was never great to begin with, is starting to be exposed which is prone to happen in conference play.

I mentioned this in another thread, but John has coached this team to be soft. We get the SAME number of fouls as ever, and as many as most teams we play, but we get out fouls from touch crap.

Which is exactly what they should have been practicing the first three months of the season, because John didn't teach this team to run. He just hasn't taught them basketball.
