Notre Dame was hitting pretty well last night. They had a decent enough lead but couldn't hold it. They still run a variation of the Princeton offense. They were shooting threes and working the back screens really well until UNC finally adjusted. I don't think Notre Dame would beat UNC a second time if UNC could continue to play disciplined defense as they did down the stretch. UK would kill ND if UK played disciplined defense.

I still like Carolina but I just don't know if they have the outside shooting. They went long stretches in that game last night where they just couldn't hit. And Roy's teams have never really hunkered down and played defense. He'd much rather run and try to score. Hard to do when you don't have great offensive players.Comment

Good point on UNC's shooting. I thought UNC took a lot of shots outside of an offense last night. Their defense was pretty lackadaisical until the last five minutes or so.Comment
