    Mind boggling

Do we really appreciate what this team is doing?? Look at our points per game average and the number of 20 point victories we have this season. Are we that good or has the opponents been that bad or a little of both?

We're that good. We are the best team in the country and we haven't hit our stride yet.

But you are correct. It's not appreciated.

Depends on the competition I guess. We have two losses so we are good but nothing unearthly.

Right, Westtncat. I'll make my determination as to how good we are in April. Beating up on a bunch of clowns doesn't prove anything to me.

The most incredible thing isn't the teams we've beaten but the points we've put up and how fast we can play.

I haven't seen anything like it since '96 in that regard.

The shooting and our inconsistent defense bring us back to earth at times. But we'll have flashes during games that are IMO the best I've seen in the Cal era, including that team two years ago.

We are that good but have defensive lapses at times. The Kansas game will tell us quite a bit. Outside of Pitino's teams, I have never seen us play this fast. We are an extremely fun team to watch. Arkansas had a plan to shut down our best player and they still got drilled. Our upside is scary. March is all about guard play and we have the best backcourt in the country.

Probably the most entertaining team we've had since the mid-'90s. The Wall team was outstanding when they weren't turning it over 20 times. The 2012 team was amazing but were more defense-first. That team two years ago was all defense, and also fun just because they were so physically imposing.

This is different in that as soon as these guys get out on the break you know something tremendous is going to happen. There was a moment last night where it wouldn't have surprised me if Monk and Fox would have just started back-flipping when they got to halfcourt like those guys on trampoline halftime shows.

If we beat Kansas, by 20, I'll be impressed.

All we gotta do is beat the #3 team in America by 20?

                  Easy.

This is the most exciting team to watch since my favorite team at UK, the 1978 team. Talk about playing fast. That team averaged 84 points a game with no shot clock and no 3 point line.

I think one thing that makes this team different is that fact that if they are better they stay better. What I mean is they just keep playing better for 40 minutes. Many of Cals teams would get a big lead then ease up. This team seems like it wants to score 150 every game. If they learn to play defense against better teams we will be very hard to beat. Im impressed with how fast we play and score but sometimes its seems they think the best way to get the ball back is let the other team score. If we lost to Kansas I will actually be a little worried about their toughness against like competition.

And we just added Diallo. There's talk of his not playing this season but I hope that's just talk. He's a bad man!! He is immediately the 3rd best guard on our team without question. Only Fox and Monk are better and some people say he's better than Monk. He may be in the world of talent alone? He bigger than Monk. But Monk has half the season of coaching and all that.

He's far better than Briscoe but Briscoe has a year and half on him.

But he can play Hawkins and Mulder's minutes while learning. No way he's worse than them at this point. The guy is New York tough too.

I know the story is that he plans to play here next season. Plans change. He would be a first round pick this June if he declares. Even if he never plays a minute for us. He's that good.

He's not staying 4 years under any circumstance so no reason to worry about using up eligibility playing this season.

I'm sorry, but beating up on weak sisters just doesn't impress me.

We are not as good as UCLA yet, imo.
I like us against KU at Rupp.

Fastest team I have ever seen at UK and I've watched since the Issel days.

The SEC is hot garbage so it's tough to guage, but there is no doubt we are getting better. Going to be fun in April.

This has been discussed ad nauseam in the recruiting forum, but he isn't on a single draft board for this year and scouts have been as aware of his situation as college coaches.

In a year when we're going to need all the help we can get at guard, Cal wouldn't have accepted a commitment from a SG who isn't going to be here next season.
