Issue over at KSR

If KSR has a post anywhere on the first page with a video set to auto-play, the site automatically jumps all the way down to that video, which means I have to scroll around and find the spot I was reading right before it happened. Their site does this every time I go there.

Can't get answers from anyone over there so I'm wondering if those of you who frequent their site have discovered a fix for this, or have at least encountered the same issue. It's obviously nothing major, but it's annoying.

Speaking of tech issues, I have a problem with accessing the WCN forums on my phone. Every time I go to a new page on the site my keyboard comes up automatically. I have to exit it every single time. It only happens on the WCN site and none of the others I frequent.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

It's because their site infrastructure is still from the Jurassic period.

My guess is that it has something to do with your browser. What do you use? I had all kinds of problems with KSR when I used Firefox, but no problems when I use Safari (I run a MAC).

Bummer. I'm on a Mac and using Safari as we speak. I was hoping it was a browser issue and a switch to Chrome or Firefox would resolve the issue.

Im using Chrome and mine does that jumping thing on it too. I always seem to have some kind of issue on that site when Im on it.

Since I started using an ad blocker and a flashcontrol program, I have no more problems with their website. The ad blocker does cause the site to load up slower. I have to turn off the flashcontroler if I want to watch a video. A few clicks and I can watch the video.

Adblock Plus. The free version. Just google the name and it is the first link that comes up. Easy to install on Chrome.

I visit KSR a lot but I end up just closing it out half the time becaue of the speed (lack of) when I go there. Its always doing something crazy. I have just learned to live with it.

This is an interesting opinion. Can you elaborate? Are you saying he's not a UK fan because he went to Duke Law School, or has he said/done something else to make you believe this?
