Where does it mention intentional injury and cheating?
One site of many I found said: Players routinely use their bodies to their advantage—to fight for position, to intentionally draw contact in the air while shooting the ball, for example—and they use their forearms and elbows to ward off defenders. This evolution has predictably led to a number of injuries to players in the NBA.👍 1Comment

There is a difference of using yourself to block the ball and using yourself to take out the player shooting the ball. For example if a player is shooting the ball the other player jumps up and blocks it fine. If a player is shooting the ball and the other player intentional makes contact with the shooting player and knocks him to the ground and say breaks his elbow that would be intentional, and I see that as a cheating.Comment
