Decent half by Monk.

The bad news: we really outplayed them I thought. Just could not get back defensively at all and couldn't guard Jackson without fouling.

Why did we have Derek Willis on Jackson for a long stretch there? Baffling.

Big half for Bam Adebayo coming up. Monk isn't going to stay on fire like that. It's going to take grit and keeping them off the glass. Bam can't come out and pick up 3.

They called a terrible foul on an offensive rebound by Gabriel. Roy flipped and threw his sportcoat at the bench.

It was daggum hilarious.

A UNC player went to the ground under Gabriel, while he was rebounding. Caused Gabriel to fall to the floor, and the UNC player got a foul. Roy blew up and threw his coat.

Im going to say it and own it, Monk and Fox the best backcourt we have ever had on both ends. Wall and Meeks could have been special but these two play like well seasoned veterans, unbelievable. ...

And actually the technical foul was a big moment.

It felt like the whistles got started for UNC about then. Most of the fouls were legit but they got real whistle-happy for awhile and they stayed in the game at the line.
