    Basketball Question # 13.

    After the free throws are attempted for a technical foul assessed to a player for dead-ball contact, which are true of the ensuing throw-in?

    A. It shall be awarded to the offended team.
    B. It shall be awarded at the point of interruption.
    C. It shall be at the division line on either side of the court.
    D. It shall be at the division line opposite the table.

            The correct answer to question # 13,

            is A & C, for NCAA Men; A & B for NCAA Women; and A & D for HS.

            RULE 7; Out of Bounds and the Throw-in.

            Section 4. Out of Bounds, Ball in Play from,
            Art. 8. After a single contact dead ball technical or a flagrant 2 technical, the ball is awarded to the offended team for a throw-in at the division line on either side of the playing court.

            For information purposes, if the ball were put in play at the point of interruption, the throw-in spot would the closest spot to where the ball was when the T was called.
