    Turnovers

I have a few situations where a team commits a turnover that I am wanting to know who takes the blame:

If there is a shot clock violation does it go to the person who had the ball in their hands?

If a player is inbounding the ball and throws it out of bounds or has a five second call.

I remember one game Murray was throwing the ball in, threw it to Ulis, the ball went through Ulis' hands and out of bounds. I looked at the end of the game and Ulis had no turnovers. Did that go to Murray?

Is there ever a situation where a TO goes towards the team and not an individual player?

I sometimes wonder the same thing. All the issues you mention are not covered by the rules of the game, so they're not mentioned in the rule book. They are for the Stat Crew at the game, usually provided by the home team. Sometimes they set at the table, and sometimes on the bench.
