back in the UK puke game in 92, should lattner have been ejected from the game? if so, then way was he not ejected? if not, then why not? would it have been a double ejection if someone would have punched him when he stomped on timberlake?

This is an interesting and complicated question. Absolutely, ejection was possible for that action. Rules were in place, but different circumstances determining what was called. To name a couple, 2 man officiating crew, no replay available. It is what it is, and it's in the book.John 3:3

If I had been on that game and saw the whole thing happen from start to finish, yes. The thing we don't know is if either Official saw the whole thing happen. For instance, maybe he only saw the foot on the chest, and not the aim, or vice versa. Remember, we have an advantage of getting to see everything over and over. The Officials didn't have that advantage..

now that the stake has finally rotted from my heart after all those years....there are other questions:
Pitino is and was a control freak....why not guard the inbounds to not give Grant Hill a free heave?
Why not a center guarding Laetner..instead of Pelphry and Feldhaus?
LOL....coulda, woulda, shoulda. If Laetner had not been on the court, we may well be discussing the breakout game for Grant Hill....who was not exactly chopped liver.
It was a great pass, a great catch, and a shot from at that time a kid that literally played the perfect offensive game.
Let's not forget, over the years, we've had several....several...players at UK that likely got as much benefit of the doubt as Laetner did. How many times did Kenny Walker go over the back? Louisville fans are STILL wanting to know when D Cousins will be ejected for the altercation.
Just sport. We get some, we lose some. That one hurts because of the desire we all had for the program to be back on top, and the idea we all had that team was made up of underdogs (an opposing coach pointed out Pelphry was Mr Basketball, Feldhaus almost took that from him, Richie Farmer the most prolific scorer in hs most of us had seen, Sean Woods was Mr Basketball in Indiana) even though it was pretty loaded.
One of the best college games I ever saw.
