DE James Hudson who is a teammate of Michael Warren has just committed to UK!! 24/7 has him ranked as the #5 Strongside DE in the nation. He is 6'5" 271 lbs and our 3rd commit of the day for 2017. HUGE day!!

A 4 star defensive end commit! Now I'm speechless. The investment in upgrading to a top notch facility is part of the whole dynamic. Stoops is upbeat and more positive toward the prospect of winning games this year. I haven't heard "it's a process" as much this year. I understand we're not "there" yet, but all of what we're seeing is pointing to very real progress in getting there. I agree Uncle Dave. I haven't seen this kind of recruiting in the past and the level of talent coming in. I didn't keep up closely with recruiting during Curci's time here. Seems, in the past, if we had one solid group the next year would fall off. It does feel good seeing the kids that are coming in now. Exciting times for this ole worn down Wildcat football fan.

Another problem, we've had in the past, that I don't believe we'll see much, if any, with coach Stoops' recruits is if we got a really good player, he'd never make it for four years. He'd either flunk out, or get into trouble with the legal authorities.

I'm wondering how the excitement and interest of 2017 recruits may have on commitments of 2016? Further solidify their interest. Better yet, anyone we still have on the line that now sees others will be joining after them, so come along. Do we have the room for more this year? If I appear greedy, I am. Go CATS!
