I've watched his tape. He runs like his hair is on fire and can catch the football. Nothing wrong with grinding out yardage but playmakers and explosive plays are needed too. I can hope.

There's no doubt that he can help us, it's just that we're not used to coaches taking players with checkered pasts.

I'm surprised I didn't think of this earlier. I'll bet Mark ask his brother Bob about McGowan before recruiting the player. Bob seems to still be every close to the OU program and likely knows the details of the situation.
