I don't think that will be the case. Cutter will either be a sophomore or RS freshman his first year. At most of your top programs you've got QBs who go in and sit for two or three years before getting their chance. There's a difference in kids who want to come in and get theirs and kids who want to come to a successful program to have a chance. Stoops is building a program that kids will want to wait to play for.

With Coen back we are closer than ever. I'm sure Stoops asked him to guarantee at least three years here this time. By the time this kid is a RS frosh we very well could be!

We have literally had to “luck out” in getting a starter quality QB from the transfer portal for the last two years, now three this year, and we’re worried about a crowded room?

We haven’t successfully recruited a quality QB from high school for ten years.

Stack ‘em if we can, understanding that transfer simply happen now.
