    Class of 2024 5-star K/P Jacob Kauwe commits to Kentucky

    The Kentucky football program has now picked up commitments in back-to-back days.

    On Tuesday morning, five-star kicker/punter Jacob Kauwe announced on social media that he has committed to play for the Wildcats. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound special teams prospect out of Billings (MT) West officially visited Kentucky during the middle of last week and left Lexington with a full-ride scholarship in hand.

    Kauwe is the sixth commitment for Kentucky’s 2024 class. He joins IOL Jadon Lafontant, who chose the Wildcats on Monday, as this week’s pledges. UK’s new running backs/special teams coach Jay Boulware was instrumental in Kauwe’s recruitment.

              I just watched the film on this guy. He appears to ba an absolute freak of an athlete. He put one kickoff THROUGH THE UPRIGHTS. That is like a 70 or 75 yard FG. And, kicking from his own 20 after a safety he put the ball on the 10 yard line. With collegiate level coaching, he could really be something very special.
