Kentucky scores commitment from 2021 receiver Chauncey Magwood

Yahtzee! The Kentucky Wildcats have scored a commitment from 2021 wide receiver Chauncey Magwood

Magwood took to social media at 3 pm today to announce that he was committing to Kentucky.

Rivals ranks the three-star wide receiver form Leesburg (GA) as the 65th-best receiver in the class of 2021. Credit for this pledge goes to Jon Sumrall, the UK linebackers coach who has done a great job expanding Kentucky’s recruiting in the south as of late, and he was the lead recruiter for Magwood.

Magwood had six schools on six schools on his final list; Louisville, Kentucky, South Carolina, Florida State, Nebraska, Arkansas. That being said, this commitment does not come as a surprise as Kentucky had received 10 of 10 predictions on the Rivals FutureCast leading up to the commitment.

Like some of the rest of you, I tend to not get too excited until they sign on the dotted line, but sports news is practically non-existent right now so I thought I'd go ahead and post it.

Thank you for posting, I’m very happy to hear this news. He’ll be coming to a good program that has some plush facilities. I’m thrilled that we continue to recruit the south

Same. Before Kentucky bball went on a bit of a run last season, I said to my dad that for the first time in my life, Kentucky football was more interesting than KY basketball. I'll be curious to see if that's still true this year.
