    Crystal Ball

We picked up some crystal ball picks for Frederick Douglass teammates Jager Burton and Dekel Crowdus. Burton is, according to most, the number one player in the state and a top ten OG nationally. Most services have him in the top 150 and Clemson REALLY wants this kid. He's one of the most dominating guards this state has seen in a long time and holds offers from all of the big time power five schools.

His WR teammate is also trending our way. Crowdus is a four star, top 250 player nationally, and holds offers from Ohio St, Auburn, Michigan, etc.

These kids are good and it's really important to keep this kind of talent in the state. A few months ago Burton was all but a lock for Clemson but it seems we may have changed that.

Crowdus is announcing Sunday, I believe. This could do two things for us:

        1) Show the best of the in state talent it's ok to stay home and play for UK

        2) Get something started the Frederick Douglas, which could be HUGE.

He looks light and the CJ won't let me in to see his size and speed. Looks fast.

                He's 5 ft. 10 1/2 in. tall and weighs 165 lbs. Has fantastic top end speed. I haven't seen a 40 speed.

I was looking for info about him last night and I think I saw a 40 speed of 4.4. Fast but not blazing.

A lot of kids have track speed but Crowdus has football speed. He can cut at nearly full speed and stop on a time with great acceleration. He'll be a very similar weapon as Badet was. He's currently a top 50 WR in the country and will rise.

I understand about football speed and I'm glad he's a Cat. As for track speed, Yeast had it.
