    Second Signing Day

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the second signing day for the class of 2020. There's still a couple of guys that we're looking to sign. Torrance Davis, a rb, who has been committed for some time but did not sign in Dec. and Michael Drennen a four star do everything athlete. Both are from Ohio. It's between us and So. Cal for Drennen's services with UK believed to be the leader. I've linked a C-J article about the players.

Drennen announces at 6:00 pm, an unusual time for someone in the Eastern Time Zone or going to a school in that zone. He’d be in line for Lynn Bowden’s role and prominence at Kentucky, but not at Southern Cal.

I’m not sure what’s up with Davis.

I don’t know who else (if anyone) is on the board. I don’t think the staff will be offering any scholarships just to fill a spot.

I'm wondering if, perhaps, Davis isn't having second thoughts. We're loaded at rb.

Some rumors Davis is a clearinghouse issue of some type.
        Could be anything.
we may get Drennen, but sometimes kids dont go where the fit may seem obvious.

In some other news, Danny Clark has signed with Vanderbilt. So we will likely see the big kid again.

Big time pick up for us! Cats could use some playmakers and he should become a very good one.

Yes, it appears is the correct phrase. No official announcement from UK as of 10PM Eastern time. Apparently he has not signed a LOI. While a player is not required to sign a LOI, it's unusual to not sign one.

Might be tied to how the coaching carousel shakes out. While Coach Morrow has stated he is not going to Youngstown State, Dantonio's departure from Michigan State may create openings elsewhere for Morrow to consider.

Apparently coach Marrow doesn't think there's a problem. He tweeted "don't doubt the big dog" or something to that effect.

It's official, his LOI has been received. I've posted a link to a C-J article that gives a good run down on all the signees.
