      Sorry not to hijack the thread, but why does a school want a silent verbal vs an announced one?

              One thing I could think of is a recruit wanting to put together an announcement at their school, do a video, etc but they wanted the coaches to know.

                      It would be. Especially of Kalil Branham commits. He went on a "Thank you for recruiting me" tour on twitter and the Cats weren't in it. Seems like good news. KSR has the story.
