OK, it's just 6 minutes later and I have another thought. (I guess I just cannot stay too pessimistic for too long.) Look at his other 3 official visits and let me ask you this question? If you had a chance to go to the Miami-notre dame game this weekend, all expenses paid, would you go? If you had a chance to go the Alabama-Auburn game, all expenses paid, would you go? OK, tOSU and Illinois in Columbus in November, yeah, I would probably pass on that one. But why NOT take those trips?

We will be lucky to hold onto this kid especially the way we are playing.

Kids are kids. If he thinks his career is better someplace else, there ya go. I always liked Mark Richt myself, and think he's a fine coach.

          Auburn on the other hand.....meh.

Good luck to the youngster wherever. I like the kids we have and think our real needs are defense.
Then again, what do I know.

If Gunner Hoak is any good, I expect him to start next year whether we get Williams or not.

I'm beginning to wonder just how good Hoak is.

I also think Hoak starts next year. He will have been 3 years in the program, and he seemed to have a nice arm in the Spring games.

Hate reading this....“I definitely think you should be worried when you line up official visits to Miami, Ohio State and Auburn,” 247Sports national analyst Steve Wiltfong told the Herald-Leader on Wednesday. “It’s obvious that he’s intrigued with some other opportunities, and he’s going to go check them out.”

247Sports Georgia inside Kipp Adams — predicted after the interview with Wofford that Miami is now the team to beat for Williams, ranking UK at the bottom of the four schools left on the quarterback’s list.

I’m expecting a second de/commitment from Williams anytime now. Hope I’m wrong....

Williams removed “Kentucky Commit” from his Twitter bio last night, FWIW.

To answer the OP’s question, JW’s commitment appears to be as solid as a roll of wet toilet paper. Again, hope I’m wrong.

I don't think you are. UK is still a fall back plan for a lot of these hotshot players if they don't get a better offer.

Not a surprise but a huge loss. He could have had a Lamar Jackson esque impact on UK football
