Anyone heard anything about the injury he suffered late in the 4th? He okay?

My fiance sat front row at the 40 behind the bench. She could literally hear the UK players talking. She said Boom got up and was walking around fine. There's a few pictures of him all smiles in the middle of celebrations.
Side note: My fiance doesn't give a rat's butt about sports. She works at LG&E and her friend got the executive seats and took her for a girls day. She sent me a picture of Boom getting worked on and I told her to keep an eye on him. -

By the way, can you change me to 17 instead of 15? I try to keep up with the years but missed one somehow! Hard to believe it was 06 when I joined the board!Comment

Since we're discussing Boom, I'm wondering if he'll come back for his Senior season. Given the fact he seems to be injury prone, if he gets favorable feedback, it would probably be in his best interest to declare for the draft.Philippians 4:11-4:13Comment

At his size and with his injury history, I doubt he'll get much of a look. We talk a lot in the basketball forum about an additional year of school not doing much to help a player's stock; in Boom's case, however, I think he needs an additional year - and a big year, at that - to have a real shot at getting drafted. If he comes back and makes a lot of noise, it might convince some scouts to overlook his red flags.Comment

Agreed. Right now he's an average size back with speed. Literally a dime a dozen trying to make an NFL roster. He needs to come back next year and show he can stay healthy, be a feature back, and show he can handle the load.

Agree that he needs to come back. But let's hope he doesn't have to be the feature back or carry the load. That would likely mean Snell is hurt. We need a pretty even split between the two. The thing that will help Boom the most is the teams improvement. Next years team should be in the mix to win the East. More conference wins, more exposure in big games will be a great selling point for draft day.Comment
