I would be very surprised to see him decide to stay. His durability (or lack) may be the very reason he makes the jump. I don't blame him, I would try to make some bucks while I can, too. As for the team, if everybody is as advertised, we should be pretty good at RB for awhile.

As much as I love college football, I watch VERY little of the NFL. Frankly, it kind of bores me. But, from what little I have seen, it seems to me that most RBs are bigger and become somewhat inter-changeable with relatively short careers. But, I could be totally wrong. As I said, the NFL is not my thing at all.Comment

I think for the same reason he should come back. I feel like teams wouldn't be comfortable investing money in him unless he can prove he can stay healthy for a full season.I would be very surprised to see him decide to stay. I think every gm wants a durable back that can carry the load...Emmett Smith, Earl Campbell, Walter Peyton. Denver needs an every down back desperately. Tennessee has two. As of today, I just don't see Boom as that guy. Definitely a change of pace runner. Just depends on who and what is there when the draft rolls around.Comment

I'm a Detroit Lions fan. They drafted Abdullah out of Nebraska that had some injury problems. He missed a few games his rookie year and has missed something like eight this year. I know that's just one example, but typically guys who stay injured in college get even more injured in the NFL. They aren't getting hit by teenagers, it's grown men who do that for a living. If Boom can't stay healthy splitting the load at UK he won't stay healthy in the NFL.Comment

^So true. The relationship between a player and his agent can be the difference between a life of financial freedom and bankruptcy.John 3:3

Gotcha. It's certainly a tough call for him. Go and risk not signing a contract because of injury history, but come back hoping to prove you can stay healthy and risk getting injured. I wouldn't blame him one bit for going but I selfishly want him back.Comment
