This is not the place to discuss, however. Let's enjoy the win.

It only bothered me because by doing that, it showed me how into himself he was, which could be a reason he's lost the last two games. I'm not saying it should bother anybody else.

        I agree 100%.

First of all I want to wish your mother a speedy recovery. The Cats won by playing a complete game (off., def., and special teams) for a change. Also, the coaching was better than it has been.

I'm probably a glass half empty guy, but I can't keep from feeling that we probably should be 9-3 possibly 10-2 right now.

Thanks. Thanks for the info. I am watching the recording of the game and I am impressed on how Johnson played. I just started the 2nd half. He seems to have put everything together and played really well. as so the whole team did.

Agreed. He showed he was more worried about the trophy than the win, IMO.

WOW what a day! Am down in Lexington today and just now got a chance to check out the thread. I have been very hard on Johnson this year but the man stepped up today and played an awesome game. He made play after play. Way to go #15.

So happy for the team, they put in the work and reaped all the reward today. This team gets 2 bowl games this year! Today and then whatever bowl we earned with today's victory.

One the bigger upsets I have ever seen by UK. Like others have said you have to give Stoops all the credit in the world for keeping this team together. Just like you have give him a lot of criticism for how the season started. This team was god awful the first 3 or 4 games. You really had to wonder where this going to end up. The key had to be Stoops taking more of the defense. While the defense still isn't great by any stretch of the imagination. It's good enough and will force a turnover when the team needs it most. Just like they did today. This has to be one of the more remarkable turnarounds I have seen by any team from going to being just awful to being a very respectable team. Also have to give Stoops credit for going with the strength of the offense which is running the ball and not trying to force a QB to be a thrower. Not many coaches would have reversed their philosophy in the middle of the season.

Well 7-5 looks like a million bucks right now. Just fabulous from where they came from. I would think this would get them Liberty or Music City bowl berth. I think the bowl announcements are tomorrow so we will see then.

I agree with Matt in that I can see at least two games these Cats should have had.
I also remember two or three that maybe they should have lost.

I think the staff earned almost all the early criticism. This was a really terrible team early on.
I also think the staff AND players deserve praise for manning up and turning into a hard playing bunch of fighters.

                            Gotta love paradoxes.

I wasn't saying he was without blame or didn't deserve to be criticized. But the rumor that he was about to be fired were because of an affair with a student were over the line.

He he has become a better coach and has this ship turned around. I salute him.
