I certainly hope the kids have a good memory for what needs to be fixed and are simultaneously able to put a hard loss behind them.
Kentucky is a much better team than at the start of the season. Tennessee is just...not.
We will have the same problems says we did against Georgia as far as depth and 'star' talent level.

Neyland is a brutal place to play as well. The main concern I have is that Tennessee seems to save their firepower and focus for the second half while that is the time UKs lack of depth comes back to haunt.
I feel better about this game today than any game against UT since Still and company were at UK.

Tennessee is reeling. We have a great shot for the upset. I am curious to here what Brother Vol has to say about Johnson's chances against UT given that his only throw is the deep ball.

Moving forward, I would like to see THAT atmosphere at CWS in the future. That was the best crowd I have seen since the UK-Florida Gameday game. Unbelievable crowd. It was rocking and it gave me goosebumps.

Always, always.always.... You get that crowd when you earn it. Fans are consumers, and when you make a bad product, it's not reasonable to expect them to continue to buy it.

It's just not a chicken/egg argument. You win, people enjoy watching you, feel like *they* won a little bit, vicariously, and therefore agree that the expense was worthwhile. You lose, the opposite.

If Stoops keeps winning, the fans will be there. If he doesn't, they won't.

This is a statement that grates me and I've heard it for years on many different boards. I bought tickets because I'm a fan of UK Football not because I have some disposable income that I want to spend. Just because we have a bad year I'm not bailing and going out and buying Louisville tickets. I often wonder how many people that make this statement are actually ticket holders.

The bottom line is you support your team through thick and thin If you don't then get off the bus and don't get back on.

No doubt about it, fans are consumers. The Economics definition of consumer is a person or organization that uses a commodity or service. Whether the team is doing good or bad, if you support them by purchasing tickets, you are a consumer.

To answer Bill's op request for people's thoughts, in my opinion, we have very little chance of beating UT. Even though they're having their problems, I would still give them the edge in talent and coaching plus the game is in Knoxville which, in my opinion, is one of the top two or three most difficult places to play in the SEC. Another incentive is, with Fl. losing yesterday and having to go to Baton Rouge, the Vols now have renewed hope in the SEC East race.

I'm afraid Matt is correct. I really do like this direction UK is finally going, but this deck is pretty well stacked against them. I believe this bunch of Cats will leave some bruises, but UT CANNOT afford to lose this one at home. I hope I'm wrong, but the head tells me UT takes the day.
Another year of commitment, growth and that development word, and perhaps a passing element to Kentucky, and the story could change.
I'm betting its not one of those four touchdown breakdowns we've gotten used to seeing though.

You have to look at where you went wrong and fix that. Move on from the lose and take it as a lesson of improvement for the next match.
