So no matter what that will probably be our week spot again next year.
Have you seen our schedule for next year!? Shewwww....it doesn't look to easy.

I could see us winning 6 out of the first 7 maybe 5. All the tough opponents are at home next year except Georgia. Doesnt look that bad to me.

I guess there is progress, still really dissapointinf though.
You've been spoiled by the success of the bb program.

I agree, John. A lot of people were saying this season's schedule was a lot tougher than last season's, and it hasn't turned out that way.

Where we stand now, especially after the first two games this season, is an incredible accomplishment. We lost a close game to a team that was favored over us. It isn't the end of the world.
I'm happy overall but disappointed with individual games (if that makes sense). 5 wins is great for this team, especially coming into the season. But, seems like they should have 6 or 7 now when you see how the season has played out. UK football isn't going to catch many breaks in the SEC. This year there was the opportunity to do something pretty cool because of how terrible the east is. I just wish one time that UK football had the chips fall their way.

Despite the outcome, I still enjoyed watching the game. It sounded like a great atmosphere at Commonwealth and that's crucial when the game is on prime time coverage. You'd think that it was a win on the recruiting front at least. As for the team, they need to rest up and put in the work necessary to pull off a stunner next week down at Neyland Stadium. It would be only the second time in my life to beat Tennessee.

BINGO! We have a winner. We have the youngest team in college football. We have 11 seniors and three of them are walk ons that got a scholarship before the season started. The only underclassman that we may lose is Boom. That's why a bowl is extremely important this year. I think Johnson can be a decent SEC QB with the extra practices and Spring ball. He's done some good things and he's done some not so good things, you have to remember he basically is a first year player. I really have a feeling that we will never see Barker play again.

Last nights game was really frustrating. The interception was classic UK football. The video board made it look like Garrett Johnson was down before he fumbled. The SEC office overturned the decision on Chubb's fumble. There were three or four other questionable calls but we played well enough to still have a shot to win. I'd rate it as one of the top 10 worst officiated games ever in CWS. Too many times these things would have opened the door for a blowout but we hung in there.

Great effort but just not quite enough to overcome some bad things that happened. You just knew that Badet drop/bounce off or whatever you want to call it was going to be a killer. And I think it was. Most likely he scores if he catcher it and UK is up 28-16. But instead UGA seizes the momentum. UK's offense sputtered the rest of the game and that was it. Oh well it was going to take a miracle to win the east anyway. Just get that 6th win against AP and we can be satisfied with this season.

The Badet play was a killer as we all know, but I thought the way the defense was playing off of Georgia's receivers on the last drive was equally damning. They basically were allowed to do what they wanted to do on that drive with almost no resistance. It was just pitch-and-catch all the way down the field.

But if somebody doesn't see the monumental change in this football team from Southern Miss until now then they aren't paying attention. Completely different team.

There's nothing wrong with being disappointed with games. I think we all get disappointed when we lose, even if it's expected. But to say that losing a close game like this, after the turn around we've had this year, makes it hard being a fan is a little exaggerated.
