    Shall We Dare Think It

It's a long shot but still a possibility. That is UK still has a chance at winning the SEC East. A few weeks ago I would been committed to the local mental facility for even thinking this. But with UGA game and Tennessee game looking more winnable and Florida with two tough road games at Arkansas and LSU left on the schedule well........we can dream anyway.

I would be over the moon just winning two more. Austin Pea and ANY other.

This is my dream. After what we've been through the past 5+ years, simply to get to 6-6 is moving forward. But to dream of a 7-5 or better can't hurt. Let's get GA and have fun from there.

I honestly think that with the way the team is playing right now, 3 out of the next 4 is completely possible. I think the wildcards in the remaining games are UT and UL, they are both capable of playing lights out but as we saw on Saturday they can both lay eggs.

        Beat UGA! Go Big Blue!

"Think it," is about all we can do now. Our focus has to be on UGA, and we have to play "Lights Out," to win that one.

The Georgia game is definitely winnable - moreso than the UT game and even that's predominantly due to being in Knoxville. I'm not impressed with either team. If we win 2 of the last four, shoulda, coulda, woulda regarding Southern Miss. I'll always consider that game a "half win" in my mind because of the Jekyl and Hyde nature of it. The first half foretold what could be, and they're now getting closer to living up to that.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

Exactly, LG. For UK to look past almost anyone would be ludicrous in my opinion.

Sure. Who's saying or thinking that they might look past anyone?

Likewise. A winning SEC record for the first time in my life would be...unthinkable.

I am not looking past anyone. Not even Austin Peay. But there have been very few times in my life when UK had even a small shot this late in the year at winning anything in the SEC. So why not dream a little? Who knows when you would be able to do this again?

I will admit to cringing when the tv guys were talking about the AP being a done deal. I will celebrate when we have actually one six...

To be honest, Austin Peay is as close to a gimme game as UK will ever have. Last I saw AP was 0-7 to open the season and they had been beaten badly in every game. But with UK football you cannot take anything for granted.

UT is a long shot to win but not impossible, especially if they have drama issues. Dont even let yourself think for a minute that we can beat U of L. It will just set you up for disappointment.
