I'm elated with the win, and with Austin Peay still on the schedule we should be able to attain bowl eligibility. Having said that, the passing game needs lots of work. We won't be able to run the ball down the throats of UGa., UT and UofL like we did Missouri.

You're absolutely right Matt. Three killer teams ahead. I gotta say though that I'm impressed how far this bunch has come since game one and two. With a backup quarterback that wasn't on anyone's radar and a makeshift defense that couldn't stop anything.

Missouri's offense was one of the tops in the nation....number eleven, I think. TDs because of a blown punt return and a long one after the outcome was pretty much sealed.

I thought we MIGHT split the games between the three other 'weak team's....UK being the fourth. Instead, the kids sweep.
I shake my head as well when I think of the second half of the first game....these kids would already have a bowl ticket punched and just be trying to move up the pecking order. I sure am glad to see where they are now, though.

Stoops deserves credit for turning it around. We're a win away against a bad Austin Peay team from going to a bowl, and we're no worse than .500 in conference play.

Ain't it amazing.....we're this crew able to pull two more wins out of the last four Mark Stools goes from fired to coy candidate and Mitch Barnhart looks like a genius for the huge buyout clause that would keep Stoops here.

We'll my interest has been piqued. Took a long time to get over the So. Miss. collapse but I'm now back into the season. I'm even OK with it if we lose to UGA, UT & UL as long as we continue to show up. BUT certainly have to spank A Peay. Keep it up fellas!
