Another game, and another must win situation for the Cats. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a bad feeling about this game. My prediction: the Tigers in a close one.

Stoops' teams have been awful during his tenure in these kinds of games...until, oddly, this season as they've been under the gun from the start.
Missouri isn't a good team but they move the ball. I think the game will have to be played like last week's second half for us to win.
But I think we do and Stoops, at least for now, is redeemed.

I hope Mcginnis is on his game Saturday because I look for us to need his leg again to get a win.

U.K. For the Win...
I echo others sense of foreboding. I have always underestimated Mizzou only to watch us no show or them kick our tails. Once again I don't see how we aren't favored.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... Call me kooky but I predict a big UK win. Cats by 17. Mizzou is in shambles physically and emotionally and a "Gold Out" game will not help matters. We run for 275+ and the D looks great in this one. Commonwealth next Saturday is gonna be rockin'.Isaiah 5:20Comment

This is the type of game UK usually bites the big one. But I'll stay optimistic and say UK will win another high scoring affair.

Sort of off-topic, but I have a friend who's really good at predicting games. Always has been. UK sports, other teams, doesn't matter. Football, basketball--the sport doesn't matter either.
He called last week down to the "UK is going to win on a last-second field goal." Over the years I've watched him nail games down to almost their final score.
But here's a weird thing: he doesn't really watch the games a whole lot. He'll pay about half-attention. He isn't a fan like many of us are. He doesn't follow it that closely where he'll carve out his day to watch UK. But he's always been good at memorizing stats, players...even from years ago. Maybe the trick is that if you want to predict games well--pay attention but not *that much* attention. Sometimes I think my NCAA bracket sucks because I watch too much.👍 1Comment
