IF we beat MO and UGA beats UF, we will be in sole possession of 1st place in the SECE. Temporarily, at least. We can daydream all we want about winning it, but the path to the championship game goes through Knoxville. UT has what looks like a cakewalk schedule on out, so we have to win that game to even have a chance.

If you care about any of this, then you are a Georgia and South Carolina fan this weekend.

I'll be pulling for Ga. to lose. I have no illusions about us winning the SEC East. I do, however, think another loss might demoralize the Dawgs.

Mizzou just lost their star LB for the season. They had a lot of injuries last week. Still, they ran 120 or so plays last week. That is insane. To win this game we are gonna have to run the football like we have been. MTSU ran all over Mizzou so there's that.

U of L definitely would have more on the line, and more to lose, in my opinion.

Why wouldn't the birds be in contention? Who on their schedule is going to beat them? Have no dea what their schedule is

UL needs Clemson to lose two conference games. Otherwise, UL finishes second in the Atlantic division and doesn't make the conference championship games. Only way I see UL in the final four is by winning the conference championship game.

Clemson has Florida State this week, and I think the game's in Florida. UL has a cake walk this week, but still Houston and I believe that game's in Texas. Still a lot of Football to play.

The Houston game doesn't look as tough as earlier in the season. Houston was smashed by a bad SMU team this past weekend. UL should roll through the rest of their schedule. They do need Clemson to lose this weekend and once again to make the conference championship. That's not likely to happen now.

I get the feeling the Houston kids took a double whammy. One loss pretty much killed any hope of a final four appearance, and the constant talk of the head coach leaving to......anywhere....has had to hurt.

If we beat Missouri, then I want UGA to beat FLA. We will already essentially be bowl-eligible and in contention for the SEC East. And, next Saturday will indeed be a rockin' night at CWS.

However, if we lose in the "Show-Me" State, then we are out of contention in the East. In that case, I would want UF to beat the Dawgs in hopes of demoralizing them a bit. If we lose to the Tigers, then beating UGA becomes our best bet for a bowl.
