So we get the early game on Saturday at a very beatable Mizzou. Mizzou's back is against the wall totally and they just want a win now. Hope we take care of business there. Then Sunday a look at our young Cat's Basketball team vs Clarion. I know we will not get any good info off of that exhibition game but it will be our guys against other players. Looking forward to the game next Saturday. Hope our injuries are healed up and our guys are ready to play. Sunday you just hope no one gets hurt.

Mizzou is, of course, a HUGE game. We have all been so focused on getting that 6th win to be bowl eligible, and we should be. And, we are taking one game at a time, as we should. But, if we beat Mizzou, well ...

Yeah Mizzou lost to MTSU, but they had 2 guys run for over a hundred. Their QB is a gunslinger and they have a Top 20 Offense. FWIW, MTSU has a Top 12 Offense. Our Defense will be tested big time. Cats are 4.5 point dogs at MO. Some folks are finding that strange, but I think it is about right. I also think this will be a tougher game for us than Georgia, since it's on the road. This game will tell us a lot about our team.Comment

Saw on another board where the Missouri football team is planning another walk-out and there are rumors that certain players have "quit."
Not sure how solid that information is but I'll take as many breaks as we can get. God knows Kentucky football is due.Comment

I watched some of the MTSU - Missouri game and then checked some of the highlights. MU looked like they were, for the most part, mauling MTSU. MU had 36 1st downs to MTSU's 27. MU had 629 total yards. But MU had 3 fumbles and lost 2 of them. MU had 13 penalties for -125 yards. Missouri beat itself with fumbles and penalties ... with a little help of course. They are big and rugged in the trenches. Their defensive secondary is a bit porous. Some poor tackling. The QB has a strong arm and they use their ends and some tall receivers in their passing game. Inconsistencies in their passing game hurts them. Sound familiar? I think Locke threw two picks in the Georgia game. The could easily have won the Georgia and MTSU games. I know some were wondering how Vegas could give them a 4.5 pt edge. I think our OL and running game may give us an edge in this one. It could be a very rough game and ugly to watch.Comment
