Kind of surprised by the early spread. The folks in Vegas don't appear to be brimming with confidence regarding our chances.

Only a three point underdog. Not bad from where they were just a few weeks ago. Since they are home UK has a decent shot at this one. Miss State and most of the SEC is really down this year. UK needs to make the most of this and win these next two and go from there. I saw where Miss State's offense is ranked pretty low nationally. That helps considerably. Not sure where their defense ranks.

BTW, our defense has risen to 77th. I think at one time we were in the 120's. Our offense is ranked 117th. YIKES!

I think with how we are playing now we might have a chance to beat them. However from 2009-2015 we lost to them, and the last time we beat them was 2008. In 2014 was our last home game against them and we lost 45-31. Overall record against them is 22-21 to Miss. St.

Every game until the kids get six wins is a big game. Seven year drought against State, which shows just how old I'm getting because I remember that as a real competitive series. I.guess we could say Pescott plus three years, but State has us going on that decade long list. The Florida thing is ludicrous, and Tennessee only has one stumble where our wide receiver manned up as the quarterback.

I'm ready for the Mississippi state string to stop.
