I think we all need to take a deep breath and remember Johnson had a good game against NMS which is not a real good team. That being said, I would start Johnson against South Carolina.

Hope Stoops changes his mind. I guess we will find out at his press conference coming up soon.

Probably just gamesmanship to say that Barker will be our starting QB, but with this staff, who knows.

It's obvious Johnson earned the start next week, but with our defense, it wouldn't matter if we had Dan Marino taking the snaps back there.

It's just a confidence thing, as far as keeping Barker as the #1. I feel he will be on a rather short leash though.

He might not be able to play at all. That we saw the third QB was telling.

I hope you're right and its gamesmanship but my gut tells me it is not. I hope I am wrong but I just don't think Stoops will make the change. I do believe he will be on a short leash.

I suspect barker will be watched closely. I will tell you now, no wa y he lets barker lose a game with Johnson on the sidelines. If he does, he deserves lots of harsh criticism. I just cant fathom that happening tho.

Snell is still third string at RB as well.

Didn't see that coming either. I was so interested in the QB position I didn't look at the RBs.

Thats frustrating for a player too. You go in and perform well and......nothing. Some players dont shine until game time. That same feeling isnt there in practice. Im sure Stoops knows this too s maybe its just for now and he will make adjustments as needed.

Young is still listed as second team LT. I didn't watch much of the game, but in the second half he looked like a LT. I'm not going to put too much creedence in the depth charts released.

What did Johnson do that would work against an SEC defense ?
A healthy Barker is still the best option.

Because he's done so well against SEC defenses?

having much more to do with poor tackling than good qb play.
