    Mercy

At this point, our football program is in terrible shape. In two games, our lines have been dominated. To be honest, I don't think this is a particularly remarkable Florida team that dismantled the Cats.

JMO......it seems to me that our coaching staff is lost....although in a grim way I could point out game management has not been a problem from last year's season ender till now.....because we weren't in position for that phase of the game to matter.

The school has spent a lot of money for what we have now.
    We won't get it back.

a twelve million dollar buyout could well be preferable to what may lay ahead for this program...after the start of the third quarter most of the players and coaches brought the term dead man walking to mind.

We were "penciled" in at 1-1 now. There are 4 winnable SEC games plus AP. That leaves an upset to happen to get to a bowl. It aint happening unless there is a MAJOR defensive shakeup.

      Still hanging on, Blue Heaven?

It's going to take a lot more than a defensive shakeup to get to six wins.

There are no words, ideas, or thoughts. The UK Football team is a total failure, where in the H do we go from here?

I feel like I'm being nothing but negative, and it's not exactly constructive, so here's my only attempt at something resembling positivity:

We have three winnable games out of four coming up. We'll obviously get smoked against Alabama, but Vanderbilt, New Mexico State and South Carolina all have similar talent to us. How we show up against these three teams will tell the tale.

Just pointing out the obvious. But then, how obvious is it?

IMO, people may as well forget about bowl eligibility. Our future opponents (Miss. St., So. Car., Vandy etc.) seem to be improving, while we're going in the opposite direction. Call it negativity or whatever, right now a 3-9 or even 2-10 season wouldn't surprise me in the least.

After the past game and a half, I wouldn't bet on any game at all as a UK victory.
                That's really a shame.

Agree somewhat. Our defense is depleted and weak, so more and better players is the only way to improve IMO. Moving an inexperienced player here or there isn't going to improve much.

The only good in playing less experienced players is they develop fast for this year or get a head start for next year. As of right now, middle LB is not producing. Put in the younger guys and let him learn of the fly. D Line (not getting much done) burn redshirts and play the guys. It cannot get too much worse. Also playing guys like that might force guys that know they have nothing to worry about something to worry about. Might help guys grow up. We only have one JJones for the D. Offense if you know DB is not the QB then play the next man. If the line cannot block then put in the next guy. If they keep playing the same guys with the same results then they all are the definition of CRAZY. Keep doing the same thing and expect different results.

If we come out lack luster again this coming week and they keep playing the same guys then the coaching staff (all the coaching staff) should be fired. It is too easy an excuse to say we are only going to play our top guys because our Number 2's are that much worse. I would rather see us lose with guys with less talent trying hard than with guys with more talent burning that talent because they have no drive. Effort is not there. I see many guys watching instead of playing.

Is it possible that the guy with all the tackles is being run at? I know the CB in the NFL with all the tackles is about to get cut.

I think the reason why he has so many tackles is because our defensive line is invisible. Outside of literally a handful of plays through two games, you just don't hear those guys' names called. So it's basically down to Jones, and if doesn't do it it doesn't get done.

He apparently was a freak of a tackler in high school. Just constant energy.

No. We got no push all game. Plenty of time for the QB on 3rd downs and it was mostly pitch and catch.
