UK-USM Prediction Thread

With the game quickly approaching, I guess it's time to see what everyone thinks. My prediction is UK in a game that will be closer than many think.

I look for a close game with a lot of points scored be both teams. I also expect UK's size advantage in both lines to begin to gain the advantage in the 4th Q. UK in a shoot out, 42-35.

It's good to be back from my 9 month hibernation. I expect it to be close, Dawson knows the defense well and has plenty of weapons. UK controlling the ground game will keep the score lower than some expect.

If UK is to win it will need to be a high scoring game. I can't see UK's defense doing much with USM and the same goes for USM's defense in holding off UK. If UK's offense should sputter this will be an L and maybe a big L. But I think they will be able to score enough to win. I will be optimistic and say UK wins 38-35.

The game is at 7:30 pm tomorrow night and is televised by ESPNU.

UK's offense better come prepared because their defense won't hold USM under 35.

Really hard game for me to get a feel for. Westry and Baity have to be able to handle their guys one on one. If either of them need help it will be a long night. Even then I still think USM scores quite a bit. You have to think the USM game plan will be to stop the run at all costs. Dawson has let them know about Kemp and Williams. Hate to put it on one guy but I think this game is all about Drew Barker. If he plays like we think he can it will be fine. If it's like vs Louisville it may get really ugly.

I think we use our size advantage and control the time of possession by running it down their throats. I think it's a lower score than most and say we win it 27-17.

Have no idea what to expect.

I think we're going to be able to run the ball on them. I do think they're going to score against our defense, but my gut says it's going to be "close," just not a squeaker.

Have to work during the game, and therefore won't get to watch. Will try to follow a game thread and the score online though. I'm super nervous about this one, as I'm really pulling for this staff to succeed here. I'm still a big fan
