The KSR football podcast is darn near trash. It's about the only thing out there for UK football talk; but they are so sloppy and unprofessional.

I couldn't agree more. Jared is the worst. They could have something good if they would take it more seriously.

As for MJ - I knew he would get trashed in this post but he wasnt even on the podcast. I have a lot of respect for what he has built.

Freddie Maggard and to a much lesser extent Nick Roush do know football and I learn things from them when I read/listen to them.

It doesn't take knowing much about football to engage in a conversation about whether a guy is still on the team, does it?

Not really sure what the point being made is really. It's not like they were talking about blocking schemes and the playbook in that podcast.

Is King still on or off the team? That's not quite rocket science, lol.

I agree, Will. They either don't know, or they're not at liberty to say. We should know something before long, I would think.

Freddie is typically pretty smart about it.

They would all be fine if they would approach the subject with a little organization and professionalism. Instead they wander all over the place with lengthy digressions into how many bath's Freddie takes and what they are all eating. When they finally get around to football talk there are some good nuggets. You must sit through 35 minutes of garbage to get 20 minutes of good content. I feel bad for Freddie because I think he would like to do a good job. J Lo can be great every once in a while, especially when offering a modern insiders take; but he is so ignorant in manner and obviously doesn't care about the product... it's really frustrating.

As for the subject at hand, they went to a practice, King wasn't there, and with no other input they started speculating if he was off the team.

"Journalism" has sure gotten worse over the years. Everyone wants to be THE FIRST!!!! to spill a "story". Rather sad, IMO.
