Not sure if UL offered, but IF they did, he would have to sit out a year. With his admitted problems with weed, I'm not sure UL, and his buddy James Quick, is a safe landing spot for him. West Georgia is division 2, so he can play immediately.

I fully realize that there are many, MANY things in life more important than football, and I sure hope Jason gets his life together. But, with that having been said, what a boost a focused and dedicated Jason Hatcher could have been for our defense this Fall.

No he absolutely should not be on this team. How many chances do you give a guy? It's obvious to me that his loyalties didn't lie with the team. If they did then he wouldn't have been so selfish. I hope he gets his life together but I am glad he is not here anymore. Sometimes you just have to cut a guy loose.

Agreed. Also, it would be a completely different circumstance if he got caught with a joint or a little bag of weed, but to have that much is definitely a no fly zone.
