Drew Barker to Start Against Charlotte

Per multiple tweets Drew Barker will start Saturday against Charlotte. Can't hurt can it?

I'm glad to hear it. This should be a good game for him to get some experience. Hopefully, he'll be relaxed and settled down. I felt he was pressing some against Vandy. He may have felt if he didn't play well he'd be yanked and not get another chance.

I hope he tears it up...

This season is still salvageable... I don't think we will beat UL but it is possible.

Hopefully the staff allows him more than one or two mistakes before pulling him like they did last game.

I haven't thought, for several weeks, that we will beat U of L. Having said that, a lot can change in two weeks. I believe we have the talent to beat U of L, if the coaching staff will get their rear ends in gear.

Have to get one's head out of their backend before we can put said backend in gear. Seems like this is a small step in a new direction anyway. Only time will tell if it is the right direction. Give Reese Phillips some reps. Why? Why not.

I agree. I'd like to see Reese get some reps, as well.

Playing against Charlotte should be good for Barkers confidence for sure. Hope people don't get their expectations to high based on what he might do. How bad must Charlotte be to be 24 point dog against this UK team? We could probably play guys from this board at QB and have a good day.

                          If so, that's BS.

Dorian probably isn't, considering the fact that Pat stares him down all the time. The question is, what happened to Juice? He's our best WR by far. Where the heck has he been?

I don't think I have ever seen a WR at UK drop more passes than Baker. He either has hands of stone or he doesn't care. Also if some of these guys are not giving it all because of who the QB is then they need to be sent packing. No excuse for that.
