I'm sorry, but these fourth down calls at midfield, mid-game, one score apart, are high school.

Stoops is fair game for criticism, on this. If this were the NFL, and I were the team owner, I would fire Mark Stoops after this game. And I hooted and yelled for the guy. But this thinking can't just be a "my bad". The first one was that. This is something much more troublesome.

Before you jump off the chain,... think about it. Once is a gamble. Twice, is foolishness.

Inexcusable to not only fall asleep defensively by simply not taking a head count but also going for it on 4th down in a close game at midfield.

People, I'm a longtime UK and Bengals fan. I know what unprepared looks like. I'd give Stoops the full 4 years to turn the thing around but to see this stuff late in year 3, is not encouraging to say the least.

I'm with you Katmendo. Last week we had a 4th down. I visibly saw Stoops say "3 yards? Go for it." What has he seen to make him believe we could make it? Just further proof that we have an incompetent staff. I like Stoops. I love his enthusiasm. Unfortunately enthusiasm doesn't win games. You have to have a competent game plan that puts your guys in the best position to win. That testy moment he had on KSR? He's feeling the heat. I know I hate to jump the gun in year 3 at a program like ours, but man! He and the staff have got to do better than this. This isn't FSU.

We have one thing in our favor. Vandy's offense is worse than ours.

I'm afraid Vandy turnovers need to happen in order to light a spark and give the team a lift on both sides.

Is this a consequence of hiring a head coach with no head coaching experience? I was never comfortable with this but I do like CS.

This game by our CATS is certainly discouraging and we don't like how things are going, but name calling does no good for for anybody. Whether a poster, coach, player of official, there will be NO MORE NAME CALLING!! That has been and still is a rule of this site.
