UK - EKU scheduled for 7:30ET Saturday Night on SEC Network

I was afraid that we would have a 12N kickoff on ESPNews or something like that but to my surprise the game is set for 7:30ET on the SEC Network. Hopefully we won't be subjected to another dose of Brent Mussburger.

This is on the SEC Network alternate channel not the main channel for that network. So check your local listings for the correct channel.

Thanks for pointing that out. Luckily I get both the main and alternate SEC channel and they're right next to each other on my cable channel lineup.

Perhaps, someday, we'll get a 3:30 game. Even 12:30 or 1:00 would suit me better than 7:30.

7:30 games are killers for me. Last time I looked at the clock it was 2:45 a.m. My days of staying up that late are long gone. Especially since I got to the tailgate at 1:30. But.....a fun day with my WCN peeps. A lot of then I only get to see during football season.

Kentucky is like the opposite of Michigan State at this point.

Every time you turn the TV on first thing Saturday, there's Michigan St. I'm pretty sure I got up at 6:00 a.m. a couple of weeks ago and they were playing. Game was in the third quarter.

I like evening games; but I wouldn't mind a 3:30 start. I hate early games.

My two favorite collegiate teams. Having attended UK but lived in Richmond. It was interesting when UK hired Mumme and their conflicting style with Roy Kidd's running attack.

Highly unlikely he and Palmer will do this game. It is on the Alternate channel for a reason. Anyway I don't think Musberger and Palmer are that bad. I have always thought Musberger gives any big game game he does a big game feel too it. For UK that is big to have that feeling attached to any game they play.

I appreciate the fact Palmer always seems to tell it like it is. I'm glad he doesn't let being a former Gator get in the way of impartiality.

I think Palmer is a moron. Other than that he is fine.

For the most part I agree. I think Musburger tries to be too dramatic with everything but for the most part does a good job. And Palmer seems quite knowledgeable to me.

Musburger isn't perfect that's for sure. That is one thing he does is go overboard on a point too often. I thought Palmer showed some bias in the Florida game but that may have just been me. Overall he is pretty good analyst. I can guarantee you there are plenty worse than this crew doing college football. I'm afraid we will get one this Saturday who is much worse.

Not so fast my friend. During our game with Florida, he said "We" one too many times. That being said, I do like it when he calls games.
