        3-1.

3-1, and looking capable. A bit rough. Some plays left on the field. Could have held them to 10 with those picks. But, by gosh we closed. we didn't quit when we failed.

21 points, with some better looking playcalling, and some deep work. THAT'S a team that CAN make a bowl game.

Still looking for 2 halves in a game.

Great win tonight! Proud of these guys after the way they played against UF. MO does have a tough defense, but PT & company handled it well.

well folks.....lol....just got home from work and missed just about every play of this game. Think I might do that from now on....
congrats to the Wildcats. I know a lot of folks will disagree, but I believe this is the biggest single win of the Stoops era.
Two time defending SEC East champs....and played them a bit more than even. AND a defense that many stated was equal to the Florida D that rattled PT and the Cats brain pans last week.

Found a TE finally. Found some passes over the middle. Baker actually held on to one in the end zone. The D did whatever it needed to do to get the job done.

I can't ask for much more.

I think this one was absolutely huge.

Agree, with Swindle down and our line having so much trouble with 91 we played great. That last drive we wanted it more that Mizzou, point blank.

Best win for UK since 2010. First win against a ranked team since 2010. This win can put them in line for seven wins and possibly and even better bowl. Towles was on target most of the night and had a good night. Kemp came up huge in the 2nd half with some really nice runs. The defense did another good job tonight too. Just an excellent win by this team and big for the entire program.
                Kentucky fan since 1971.

Something I saw tonight, and that I commend Dawson for:

He quit trying to make Patrick a finesse passer. Give him what time you can, and send your guys downfield. If you recall, we saw very few of the short slants. It was short curls wide, and deep stuff over the middle. Most of the catches were beyond the sticks, on normal first and second down distances. He used the middle to great effect, and gave credibility to the tight end and the play action pass. That was so starkly different, it could have only been a deliberate focus, and it was needed.

Great game by Dawson, great game by Towles, all things considered.

GREAT win tonight. Very proud of the guys.I'm liking that our D is getting better. Having Flanigan back was massive as he was all over the field. Gotts tip the hat to Dawson. After some questionable play calling at times, the gameplan tonight was terrific. It was about time we utilized the middle of the field. I wonder what happened to Boom? I could find nothing about him. He went unnoticed for a while because JoJo was playing well. The offensive line played well. I think Towles only took 2 sacks. A big accomplishment considering Missouri's vaunted pass rush.

One of the announcers said Jojo had the hot hand was why they were sticking with him.

                            Massive win.

JoJo, after being completely forgotten last year except in the South Carolina game, has been one of the more reliable players on offense. Kind of an amazing turnaround.

Towles had his moment of brilliance last night. He finally looked like a legit SEC quarterback out there.

And the tight end finally made an appearance for UK. First time in half a decade.

                              Several thoughts:
                              - Flannigan staying with WR step for step down sideline was impressive. What speed. He & Hatcher really improve the D. Didn't seem to miss Reggie much.
                              - Mauk wasn't OOB when hit - foot wasn't down - & PF called. Ridiculous.
                              - Thought Mosier did credible job in place of Swindle though I did wonder why Meadows wasn't at LT & Mosier at RT.
                              - Haynes was a monster.
                              - Juice is a star. Timmons has been over-ridden.
                              - Two dropped INT's kept MO close. UK clearly the better team.
                              - A much improved Towles. But that late one over the middle in EZ..................
                              - Unbelievable that Westry is FR.
                              - MacGinnis directional KO's were impressive. Gained us lots of yards.
                              - Foster improved.

This is the most physical and toughest, nastiest defense I've seen at Kentucky in a long long time. We have some beasts in the trenches. Ware and Flannigan were all over the field. Hatcher definitely stepped up. I could go on. CJ played the way I thought he could when we were able to recruit him. Huey was a force. I thought some of our OL played one of their best games. Missou has some NFL talent in the trenches. Patrick finally showed what the coaches had seen in practice. I thought we would see CJ Conrad catch some passes in this game. I didn't "see" him catching a touchdown pass. The kid has good hands. Lots to be happy about. Now we need to take care of EKU. Nothing is a given.
