Kentucky Spring Football Feature Coming to SEC Network

We are still 95 days away from Football Time in the Bluegrass. That’s the bad news. The good news is that you don’t have to wait that long to get another look at Will Stein‘s first Kentucky football team.

During spring practice, the UK Sports Video crew was rolling to see what Will Stein is cooking with the Wildcats. After spending some time in the editing room, the finished product is ready for Big Blue Nation.

Kentucky Spring Football All-Access will debut on Wednesday, June 3, at 8 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.

What exactly should you expect to see? This is the first time I can recall the UK Sports Video team producing an entire feature for the SEC Network. If you watched any of their work throughout spring practice, it’s clear that they know what they’re doing. Coaches were regularly mic’d up, illustrating the energy they’re bringing to the table. Nobody brought it quite like Joe Sloan, who asked for “Three claps and a Ric Flair!”?

I wish I could watch it. We're in the portion of the year where I don't have ESPN access. There aren't enough sports that interest me to keep paying for it. I typically sign back up the day before college football starts.

The only tv I watch is UK fb and some UK bb now that Cal's gone. We have YouTube tv and ESPN is part of the package my wife has. She's the big tv watcher in our hh.

My wife doesn't watch any actual live TV. She just streams whatever interests her on demand, so we just rotate through the major services like Netflix, Paramount+, AppleTV, etc. We subscribe to one for a bit and then cancel and pick up another.

I keep the TV on for noise a lot, but I don't care that much what is on it so I just put it on a free, ad-supported service like Pluto or Roku free channels.

The sad thing is that even though I am a very big fan of college football and will watch lots of non-UK games in that sport, the amount of other live sports that I watch - even college basketball - seems to decline every year.
