    Mark Stoops to join staff at Texas

    Not surprised he ended up back in coaching. Didn't expect as a special assistant. Thought he would be a DC.

          I notice UK still has to finish paying him. I don't know if that's because he's a Spec. Asst. and not a position coach or because of another gaff in the contract.

              I don't think there was an offset provision in the revised buyout that paid it out over installments. There wasn't one in the original lump sum version. Stoops did them a big favor by agreeing to the installments. Doubt he agree to adding an offset.
