February is the slowest month of the year in the college football calendar. Transfer portal chaos has ended. After spending the month on the road recruiting, coaches have returned to campus, giving them time to exhale. Will Stein isn’t doing much exhaling.

The Kentucky head coach is making his rounds on the national media circuit and was kind enough to chat with our friends at Andy & Ari On3. He said a few things that will fire up Kentucky fans.

I am not saying we will have an IU level rise, but they certainly have changed my perception of what can be accomplished in college football with the right pieces.

I have been impressed with his energy and passion. It seems to be genuine. I like other Kentucky fans hope that he will be successful with the football program.

I found this video of a Coach Stein interview yesterday and thought it was interesting. He discusses his relationship with Coach Slone, being the head guy instead of a coordinator and dealing with agents. I'm amazed that he could get calls from two agents claiming to represent the same player!
