Shouldn't he change his name to The Six Million Dollar Man? If you're old enough, you're envisioning Lee Majors running in slow motion: 'Steven Austin, a man barely alive...' And, LM married Farrah Fawcett. Wasn't much of an actor but DAMN! That's really hitting it out of the park.

I’m old enough and yes! Yes Majors did.

Her 1977 swimsuit poster was the stuff of this 9th graders’ dreams. :-)

I'm more than old enough and, as an aside, Lee hailed from Middlesboro, Ky. which is about 50 mi. east of my hometown of Corbin. He played fb for Middlesboro High School, QB I believe, but his name wasn't Lee Majors then.

That amount of money would upset the apple cart. The NFL would get involved and that issue

I, too, had THE POSTER. Iconic is not even scratching the surface. The hair, the smile, the swimsuit (evidently a bit chilly when the picture was shot, if you know what I mean). I was 14 in '77 and that poster was on my closet door for at least a few years. Never got tired of looking at it. As I 'matured', I actually ended up favoring Jaclyn Smith over Farrah but JS never had a poster like Farrah's.

Hadn’t thought about that in years until today. That smile! Sigh. Mods, sorry to take this off topic. I’m done :-)

I agree with this. I didn't mind him at Ole Miss. He seemed alright. But him leaving a playoff contender before the playoffs were over (or even started) was just wrong. He lost me completely with that move.

Joey—we ALWAYS know what you mean.

And THAT was a FRIENDS joke. The sitcom.

The parable of The Frog and The Scorpion comes to mind when I think of how Kiffen operates.

Leavitt signs for how ever much he got then the next day LSU signs a high 4 star qb feom USC. Leavitt will miss the spring and possibly into fall camp after surgery. So much did they pay for this insurance plan. Hasan or the Elon qb will be filling in as qb1 in the spring and until Leavitt gets ready.

Harvey Lee Yeary. Relatives of his had Yeary's Restaurant in Corbin, a factoid of which I'm sure you were aware.

As a 70’s and 80’s kid I was a fan of The Six Million Dollar Man and The Fall Guy. Wiki says he played football at IU but transferred to and graduated from EKU. Got into acting doing plays at Pioneer Playhouse in Danville. Kinda neat. I’ve ridden by there but didn’t get to even date Farrah. Some guys have all the luck

I know it isn't really your doing or intent but you must do something about what looks like a Tennessee logo.

I remember Yeary's but I never made the connection. Thanks for the info.
