I hope it's a train wreck, can't stand Kiffin, never could. Hopefully he never gets a team to the playoff the rest of his career and he has to live with the fact that he ran away from a team that did make it.

We were in the running (briefly) until Leavitt and his handlers realized they could make money for themselves by shopping around.

When I first learned of Minchey's commitment to UK, I was like "Huh??" but I'm totally good with it now and I'm glad we didn't get strung along. Kudos to Stein and staff to making a decision and moving on.

Definitely agree. Kiffin is a carpetbagger who doesn't stick around long. Up til now, it's usually been of his chosing...but since LSU proved with Kelly that they will cut ties early on and eat some cash in the process, hopefully that will end up being the same outcome with Kiffin.

He was growing on me at Ole Miss, but leaving a playoff team in that fashion left a sour taste in my mouth. It will be sweet irony if he can't take LSU to the playoffs. I don't think many coaches could go to LSU and survive the pressure that he is about to face.

The LSU at Tenn and LSU at Ole Miss games are going to be must see TV this coming season. Mustard and golf balls will be sold out for miles around.

For those who don't know him Daniel Tosh is a comedian who resembles Kiffin. When he had a TV show he used to do this spoof of him. He brought it out again for Kiffins move to LSU

An opinion frequently expressed, but any “salary cap” would very likely be struck down by the Supreme Court: everyone (adults) is/are free to make any contract they want for legal activities. Maybe the establishment of a player’s Union and collective bargaining with salary caps could work, like in the NFL, but we are a long way from that model.

It's funny, but I kinda agree. For probably close to 20 years I was thinking this guy would screw over his own mother if it meant he was going to a better situation with more money, but then he actually seemed like maybe he was growing up and settling down a bit. And then he had to go and remind everybody of just exactly who he is.
