WILD ending. Ole Miss kicks long FG to go ahead with seconds left. They kick to GA, which tries a long lateral near its own goal line on the kick return. The ball bounces and hits the pylon, a safety, adding two points for Ole Miss. After review, the officials say there was one second left on the clock. Down five due to the safety, GA now has to kick off to Ole Miss, who, weirdly, doesn't touch the on-sides squibbler and a GA player falls on the ball. By rule, since the ball was not touched by a Ole Miss player and was grounded by a GA player instead, the single second STILL remains on the clock. What follows on GA's last, one-play possession, may be the longest series of laterals I've ever seen. Ole Miss used one defensive lineman with everyone else falling back. After maybe a dozen laterals and, I think, out of sheer exhaustion, Stockton(?) is finally tackled about where the Dawgs started.

Ball game. All of this happened with only one second left on the clock. It was one of the most entertaining games I've ever seen.

Dude played out of his mind and reminded me of Fran Tarkenton the way he evaded defenders.
