    Cutter Boley Transferring

Must not have liked what he saw in the playoff game today. Or he's just shopping himself around.

According to On3/ KSR. I'm not really surprised. I think Stein believes he can do better.

I think it's more that Stein wasn't that interested in keeping him.

That's very surprising. Local kid, almost assuredly the starter, new coach with outstanding offensive mind - not sure what he's looking for. And, there's no guarantee that Stein will be able to bring or land a QB that's better. So, Ward is last man standing at the moment. Just when we thought we had our QB position settled for a few years, Boley transfers.

Can we do better? I believe so. But we can also do much worse and that's what worries me.

Rumor has it ASU has $3 million offer on the table for him. I have a hard time believing that but, in this day, and age who knows.

ASU's head coach Dillingham is a good one and an ASU alumn. If the financial figure is true, can't blame Boley for taking the money. He *may* have a better chance in the Big 12 to be on a competitor as well.

Maybe his agent is trying to drive up the price to keep him. Or perhaps Stein has quietly told Boley to test the waters.

We'll see how it shakes out. Go Cats.

In what universe is Cutter Boley worth $3M? That's not just insane but incredibly foolish. At this point, does he look like a guy headed to the NFL? Why would you overpay for Boley? This whole system has gone off the deep end, imo.

Bad news for UK. Boley steadily improved despite a sub par line and uneven play calling. Would have liked to see how he did with some decent coaching. Pretty obvious the new coach wants to go in a different direction as he would have said something publicly if he wanted to keep him.
