TX leading rusher into the portal

Scratching my head at this one. Led the Horns in rushing the past two seasons, TX will surely be in the hunt for CFP next year, TX not shy about throwing cash at FB players. Where is he going to find a better place? I don't see the logic in this decision.

Might not be money or anything like that. Might be not hitting it off with coaching staff. That would be my guess. Some of these guys realize it is better to take a little less money and have a better relationship to a coach or staff and enjoy the college experience.

I would expect a Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Bama, Georgia type of team is already setup for this guy.

^Maybe. But, as stated above, he was the leading rusher the past 2 seasons - do you think he doesn't get along with Sark & co. if he's the feature back? Might be something else, I guess, it just, on the surface, doesn't make a lot of sense. He's seemingly leaving a really good situation where he's the 'guy' for next season, anyway, for greener pastures?

Probably Tennessee, they are reportedly spending over $45 million for 2026.

After last night's game, they might want to invest in linemen. IL owned the LOS last night.
