Mike Hartline will follow his brother to USF

Another domino has fallen on the coaching carousel. Mike Hartline is on the move after spending one season at his alma mater.

When Kentucky was looking for a new head coach, there were two clear top candidates, Will Stein and Brian Hartline. After the Cats picked Stein, Hartline kept his options open. The Ohio State offensive coordinator ultimately chose to succeed Alex Golesh as the USF head coach. Now, he’s bringing his brother with him.

I thought it was odd that he was going to stay at UK after Brian took the USF job. He can't be blamed for taking a position that represents a promotion and getting to work for his brother to boot.

Wonder if it’s controversial there like Stoops hiring his brother here?

It's never controversial at the beginning or if it's successful.
