Jay Bateman from Texas A&M to be new Defensive Coordinator at UK

I don't know that much about the various Coordinators around College Football, but based on the success Texas A&M has had, it would seem this is a good hire.

It does look like they've given up a fair amount of points this season, though.

The Aggies defense finished 54th in points allowed. They were 19th in total defense. They had the best 3rd down conversion allowed defense in the country. It would seem to be a coup to get a coordinator from a playoff team.

He won't have the Studs he had at A&M I like that he has SEC experience and supposedly a great recruiter ..I like this hire
