Tulane in the CFP with Sumrall

    So....whose wrong?

Sumrall and Tulane are playing it out through the CFP.

Ole Miss decided to implode their team and push Kiffin out the door.

I think Ole Miss did themselves a disservice. It was stupid to not allow Kiffin to coach through the CFP.

    Stupid and petty.

Although I'm not a Lane Kiffin fan, I agree that Ole Miss cut their nose off to spite their face.

2 completely different situations imo. Kiffin is going to a rival and by all indications, is not the best person on a personal level to work with. Sumrall is taking a huge step up to UF and by all indications is a great person who probably did it all right and worked well with his AD.

I don't think either is wrong, I just think they are different situations. Like when Scott Frost took the Nebraska job and stayed at UCF to finish out their season. I would say it's pretty normal for coaches of lesser programs who are playing in a meaningful bowl game to stay with the team if wanted and any coach leaving for a comparable job or rivalry is shown the door.

I think it's cutting off one's nose to spite one's face.

But there's always room for disagreement. lol
