Wow - would have NEVER thought IU could beat OSU

I truly believed IU was for real and a legitimately excellent team. I would have bet the house on OSU covering 1.5 pts tonight, though. I just thought, of all the teams vying for the CFP, OSU looked to be the most complete and balanced. Well, IU disabused me of that notion pretty quickly tonight. OSU's OL did not perform well against a really smart and well-executed defensive game plan by IU. Blitzes came from all over, never gave Sayin much time to set his feet and find a receiver, stonewalled the running game by shooting gaps - kudos to that coaching staff. The offense did just enough to win the game and seemed to always get enough going to kick OSU deep so they had to drive a long ways most of the night.

If someone would've told me prior to the game that IU would score 13 points, I would've bet the house and a kidney on OSU. Thank goodness I'm barely smart enough to know I'm a completely horrible gambler and never do it.

    It happened.

Perhaps, Will Stein can do something here.

    We shall see.

In the old days before the playoffs IU would now be your national champion.

They had a very good team last year, just not quite as good as this year's team. Hopefully Stein can bring some of that lightening in a bottle with him.

Michigan got in (very little) trouble for the Stalions scouting system. Perhaps Stalions sold his notebook to IU. Just kidding. But it’s wild how good they got so quickly. And because they brought in transfers from James Madison???

^And JMU had a great year this year, too, so it's not like Cignetti took all of their good players.
